Sending Email Broadcasts
There are a couple of different ways you can send email broadcasts to your list within the DM Hub. This video will walk you through the basic fundamentals and cover the simplest way to send your emails leveraging templates and 'Campaigns.'
IMPORTANT NOTES:
One feature of the campaigns is the ability to 're-send to unopens' with just a couple of clicks. Meaning you can resend a campaign to contacts that did not open the previous send. There a some important things to keep in mind when using this feature:
If you have subscribed contacts who didn't open an email campaign that contained important information for them, you may want to send it again. Sending the same email campaign can sometimes cause unsubscribes. The verdict is still out in terms of 100% best practices. Mailchimp claims If you re-send only once, and within a day of the original send time, it may help boost audience engagement. Constant Contact recommends that the sweet spot for re-sends is 4 days, others claim 2 days. If you choose to re-send, pay close attention to the reaction and stats of your list.

The option to resend a campaign is available between 12 hours and 10 days of the original send.
-
This should not be used for every email campaign. Choose wisely. Leverage re-sends when there is important information you want your list to see.

It is recommended that you change the subject line when resending. Take it as an opportunity to either try a different angle to improve the copy.
